Transfer of a copyright registration

Should you wish to transfer copyrights in a work to a new copyright owner, an IP representative could apply for such transfer here. Please note that - as part of the transfer process – you will need to upload a signed Deed of Transfer.

Please note that:

• A transfer of the owner of the copyright with regard to a work may only be filed by the IP representative of the copyright owner as registered at WEIP; and
• Transfer of the work shall not change the date of the original registration, but shall create a chain of copyright transfers with regard to the work involved.
